Bangkok, Thailand
Bangkok hits you fast. The heat, the sound, the colors - everything feels alive and slightly out of control, but in the best way. It’s a city that doesn’t slow down, and yet somehow, you’ll find quiet frames hidden in the middle of all that madness. From the golden light bouncing off temples to the reflection of neon boards in puddles after a sudden rain, Bangkok is motion in every direction.

What I love about shooting here is how unpredictable the light is. Mornings at Wat Arun or the Grand Palace are soft and glowing, while the Summer Palace in Ayutthaya gives you that polished, royal warmth that feels cinematic. By afternoon, the city is harsh and sweaty — but that’s when the real stories show up. The tuk-tuks, street vendors, markets — all drenched in sunlight and energy.

The floating markets are pure chaos and rhythm. Boats stacked with fruits, people shouting prices, steam from food stalls cutting through the light.. it’s visual overload, but if you wait a few seconds, everything aligns into a perfect, imperfect frame. And then there’s Ayutthaya, just an hour away.. ruins, old temples, and that slow, golden stillness that reminds you how old everything here really is.

Best season? November to February, when the air is dry and evenings feel slightly kinder. But if you want real Bangkok.. shoot it in the heat. Sweat dripping, sun blazing, life moving.. that’s the city’s true rhythm.

Bangkok doesn’t care if you’re ready or not. It’s fast, loud, raw - and somehow beautiful in every frame. It teaches you that perfection isn’t the point.. presence is.
