Singapore
Singapore is a city where everything feels perfectly designed - from the skyline to the shadows. It’s one of the few places where you can shoot clean symmetry one minute and chaotic street energy the next. Every corner has intent, every light feels placed with purpose. It’s urban, futuristic, and somehow still full of emotion.

What I love about Singapore is how it plays with reflections and scale. Glass, steel, and water constantly bounce light at you - so even a simple walk feels like a lighting experiment. At night, the city transforms completely. Those neon-lit streets, reflections on Marina Bay, and the way the humidity catches the light - it’s a cinematographer’s playground.

It’s beautiful because it balances human and machine so well. The skyline looks robotic, but the people, food stalls, and late-night chaos at places like Chinatown and Little India keep it real. The contrasts here aren’t just visual - they’re emotional too.

The best season to visit is December to February, when the weather is bearable and the skies stay clear. Don’t just stick to the tourist trail - explore Kampong Glam, Gardens by the Bay, Tiong Bahru, and Haji Lane if you want to capture both structure and soul. Every neighborhood has its own rhythm and light pattern.

Singapore, for me, is about precision - in architecture, in motion, in light. It’s not the kind of place that surprises you - it impresses you. And if you slow down enough, it teaches you that perfection can still feel human.
